Introduction Kolktech (“we”, “our”, or “us”) built the LinxShare app as a utility to upload files from Android devices to a self-hosted Linx server instance. This Privacy Policy explains how LinxShare handles user data and privacy. Information Collection and Use LinxShare does not collect, store, or share any personal information. All data handled by the app originates from the user’s explicit action to share a file from another app to LinxShare. The app requires Internet access only to send files to a Linx server specified by the user. Permissions LinxShare requests only the Internet permission, necessary for uploading files to the user’s chosen Linx server. Stored Data and Credentials Users may configure their Linx server URL and API key inside LinxShare. This information is stored locally on the device and is never transmitted to Kolktech or any other party. Data Transmission When uploading a file, LinxShare sends the file directly from the user’s device to their configured Linx server instance. Kolktech does not operate or control these servers and has no access to uploaded files or any associated metadata. Children’s Privacy LinxShare is suitable for all ages and does not target or knowingly collect information from children under 13.
